Marriage made in Heaven

Just last Sat (12th Nov), I was invited to sing for Zewei and Edna's wedding. It was a very interesting experience, partly because I was given the opportunity to sing as BV together with June (I haven't qualified to sing as BV in church btw... :P), and mostly because these two were my good friends.

Seeing two of your friends get married to one another is an incredible experience, especially for me since I've known their love story (or at least a part of it) since day 1. I was there when they first met together at our (same) first orientation camp, and I've seen the many twists and turns of their love story, and I'm so happy to see them finally get together.

I guess what's meant to be will be, what God had meant to put together will come to past, and let no man put asunder. :)

So Zewei, Edna, here's wishing you both all the best! And many happy happy years ahead! :)

PS: Something important I learnt from the preaching during the holy matrimony: Marriage isn't about give and take, it's not about compromise. Marriage is about sacrifice, it's about giving yourself wholeheartedly, a 100% to your spouse.

My Workplace!

Been wanting to show these to you for a while... =)

These are photos of my workplace, where I spend most of my waking hours. I'm a software engineer by profession, and I kinda like what I'm doing in my workplace. The company is small, so we get to do everything, and learn lots of things at the same time. We know each other very well, and it's such a joy to work in a nice, cosy environment. =)

I'm Back (with A New Look)!

Hi! I'm back! =)

Thank God for the holidays, got a bit of time to catch up on rest and also to do up this new blog skin you see here. My choir team leader, Bro Jason, challenged us to try out something new, and this is one of the things I've purposed in my heart to do. =P

So here I present to you my very first blog skin, hope you like it. It's based on Rounders style by Douglas Bowman, but I changed almost every part of it. Spent a total of about 12 hours on it, so don't think I'll be working on it again any time soon... =P
